I'm Sonia Roselli.

I've spent 35 years making real faces look their best — before I ever made a product.

I have rosacea, so I formulate for the skin I actually live in.

THE BIO

I built this for the skin the beauty industry gave up on.

I started at Aveda and trained with Sonia Kashuk, but I built my career on one thing: complexion. I was the artist people called when skin had to look right — fast.

Not just on celebrities. On brides, anchors, mothers, grandmothers, men on camera, and women in real light with real skin.

In 1999, I built one of the first on-location bridal businesses in Chicago, then grew it into a studio with 30 artists. That's where I learned what most brands still miss: skin has to perform in real life, not just in a jar.

~ Bridal taught me the truth: if your skincare doesn't work in real life, your makeup never had a chance.

Sonia's Chicago Makeup Studio

The Chicago studio

Where I tested everything on real skin, every day.

I ran a studio in Chicago where we didn't just do makeup and send people out the door. We did facials, taught makeup classes, and shot photos — sometimes all in the same day.

That meant seeing skin under bright lights and soft ones, bare and in full glam, right after a facial and twelve hours later.

It's where I watched what actually held up on camera, what melted off, what irritated, and what calmed things down. That studio is where the standards for this line came from.

At the peak, I had a team of 30 artists working there. Everyday faces, every age, every concern. No filters. No 'after' without the 'before'.

Why people trust Sonia

Not an influencer. A practitioner.

Real faces.

Three decades working on celebrities, anchors, brides, editorial clients, and everyday women means the standards came from real life, not from product marketing.

Complexion first.

Sonia was known for skin. She was often hired for men's makeup because she could make skin look polished without looking made up.

Pressure-tested.

Weddings, TV, red carpets, and interviews all have one thing in common: there is no redo. The skin has to look right immediately and last.

RECOGNISED WORK

From Betty White to brides at 6 a.m.

The range matters. Celebrity work proves polish. Bridal proves reality. News and TV prove speed. Taken together, that is where the standard came from.

WHY JAPAN AND KOREA

I already knew where I had to go.

Back in the early 2000s, my Asian clientele introduced me to Japanese and Korean skincare before most of the U.S. market was paying attention.

The textures were better, the restraint was better, and the products understood reactive skin in a way American skincare often didn't.

When it came time to make my own line, I didn't have to guess. I had already seen where the best formulations were coming from.

✓ Better textures

✓ Better layering

✓ Better cleansing oils

✓ Better sensitive-skin knowledge

✓ Better hydration without heaviness

WHY I MADE THIS

My skin changed. So did my standards.

Woman wearing glasses with a close-up of her face labeled 'before' in a home setting. Eye cream made for sensitive eyes

After my hysterectomy, I developed papulopustular rosacea that went undiagnosed for years.

At the same time, skincare was getting more complicated. More actives. More layers. More irritation.

I saw the fallout on my own face and on my clients.

And I kept seeing the same problem: skincare that sounded great in theory, but left skin angry, reactive, or made makeup look worse.

It changed what I believed good skincare should do.

Your skin should feel calm, comfortable, and supported before makeup ever touches it.

So I built a line around a different standard: skincare that works hard, stays gentle, and still lets makeup sit beautifully on top.

  • Amino acids, antioxidants, and ceramides
  • Gommage exfoliation for sensitive skin
  • Cleansing oils that remove makeup without stripping
  • Textures that don't pill, slide, or suffocate skin under makeup

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

This is skincare first. It just happens to be makeup's best friend.

Most skincare is too heavy for makeup, too slippery, too rich, or not hydrating enough. It pills, it slides, or it leaves skin looking worse by the time foundation goes on.

I made this line to do both jobs properly: improve the skin over time and make it behave better the minute you put makeup on.
