Water Balm Skin Prep
Water Balm is a multi-use product that not only preps skin, it helps repair a compromised skin barrier. Use Water Balm for your day cream, night cream, serum, eye cream and makeup primer all in one. Great for air travel! Keep in your bag for quick "touch ups" before "touch-downs."
Water Balm’s texture feels cool, wet and has a gel like feeling that is non greasy. After one application, your skin will feel as smooth and hydrated like a wet dolphin. Your skin will stay comfortable for hours.
Water Balm smells of wet roses on an early summer morning. The smell is soft but not overpowering. I added Rosa Damascena Flower Water to give a “barely-there” fragrance that dissipates quickly after applying. Don’t worry, it doesn’t smell strong like your grandmother’s perfume.
Why I created Water Balm:
Broken down skin barriers keep the skin from looking it's best, especially when it comes to applying makeup. I created Water Balm because I noticed 95% of my clients had severely dehydrated skin and I needed a moisturizer that would last for hours. Due to the limited time I had to do makeup, I needed an all in one skin prep product that addressed all the needs of dehydrated skin. I then added a little makeup primer to plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Water Balm gives you beautiful, hydrated canvas so your skin looks smooth and silky.
Did you know? That Water Balm creates a thin barrier to the skin so that anything you put under Water Balm will be "locked" to keep products from evaporation? This makes Water Balm a perfect night time treatment to use over serums.

Tips & Tricks:
I apply Water Balm to the face and then do eye makeup. This gives Water Balm time to soak in the skin before I apply concealer and foundation.
I use Water Balm to create gel stain blushes. Mix a little Water Balm Skin Prep with powder blush and apply to skin using a cream blush brush or stipple brush. This gives a glow from within. I use this trick a lot under foundation and under airbrush makeup.
I mix Water Balm with thick foundations to sheer them out.
I mix Water Balm with powder eyeshadows to create a gel like shadow. Perfect for more mature eyes.
I mix a little Water Balm with concealers that are too thick and sheer them out.
Water Balm is great to wear alone. Water Balm gives the skin a smooth looking appearance without having to wear makeup.
