     Have you ever wondered what celebrities up close makeup looks like? We did too, so we found this new site that shows you in all their imperfection. Day after day, year after year, I have come to the conclusion that more and more women are suffering from low self esteem. I don’t get it. Why…  First let me start by saying, I respect any client’s review of my business. I also respect her first review. Her wedding day WAS a nightmare. I apologized profusely and even gave her a refund. I ate humble pie, apologized profusely and didn’t really know what else to say. But a second review? Why does… Her makeup looks amazing. I WISH I would have looked that beautiful on my wedding day. Some people can just never be pleased, no matter what. They’re also never willing to take responsibility for their role in their displeasure. What a miserable attitude to have. Keep on Keepin’ On, Sonia….your work rocks! Her makeup looks flawless. I don’t understand what she was displeased with? Her makeup looks fabulous! In this case, crop duster Captain Julie seems to be 100% to blame. Maybe she’s insecure about the port wine stain no one can see? Maybe she’s marrying the wrong man? Maybe she’s just ‘ugly on the inside’. At any rate, it’s sad she needs to spread hate like this – hopefully nothing else so tragic will ever happen to her. She looked lovely for her wedding day. And her makeup looks flawless! Unfortunately some people will be dissatisfied no matter what. These are the same people who take a photo of a gorgeous celebrity to their hair stylist, say “make me look like her!” and cannot believe it when they aren’t magically transformed into Halle Berry, or Charlize Theron, or Angelina Jolie (or whoever their celebrity icon was). It’s unfortunate that this customer is so hung up on what she perceives as flaws with her makeup, that she can’t even see and enjoy how beautiful she looked on her wedding day. It’s amazing that poor planning and poor decision making on the Bride’s behalf almost always winds up being the makeup artist’s fault. We are the last ones to touch, interact and spend time with a bride during those crazy critical moments before she walks down the aisle, and the blame almost always winds up ours when timing and circumstances aren’t utter perfection. I’m sorry this happened to you, Sonia. I had a similar situation last year that I will never forget too soon and all it does is exactly what the bride hopes it won’t do/ makes us stronger! I’m so glad you posted this! You, and she, deserve it!! Sonia I’m glad that my 5 star review still shows up as number one on your Yelp! page Her make-up looks awesome. WTF is wrong with her. Sonia rocks! She looks absolutely gorgeous, I don’t get the issue here either. In any area of business, there are people that will be unhappy no matter what. Its the nature of life. But I know, as well as hundreds of brides, that you have an amazing gift. And for every hater out there, you know you will have hundreds of other past brides there to back you up. Hopefully this can all be put behind you both. Every bride wants their day to be absolutely perfect, but there are always hiccups in everyone’s day. Life is too short to dwell and every bride needs to remember the most important part, is that you married your best friend and celebrated with the most important people of your life. I know you made my day special and for every friend I have sent your way, everyone has been nothing but ecstatic with your work and how beautiful you made each and every one of them look.
